The Armory is now home to Kink.com, also known as Armory Studios LLC, owned by
Peter Acworth.
Much disputing is going on with the studios making The Armory home base. And yes, adult movies will be filmed there, as well as other movies, but what will go on and be filmed behind The Armory's 4 foot thick walls will not be seen by people passing down the street. So why is everyone upset? There was no support by the community for a housing community there and the building stood empty for over 30 years. Prostitutes, Vagrants and Needle Users polluted that area. Not once did I hear or see protests over that. But now that The Armory was purchased and will house movie productions, some with hard core sex, everyone wants to scream--"Oh the children". Being a neighbor of The Armory and living in the Inner Mission, I witness crime on Mission and Valencia street daily--from movie piracy vendors to drug dealers. Those movie piracy vendors should read
this article, for they are lookin' at a few years behind bars.
So please, please stop the insanity of your children being affected by the new ownership of The Armory, for there is so much crime that is blatant in the Inner Mission that we need to focus on the real problems, not create new ones just because they're an easy target.
Plus, as anyone can see in this picture that the school bus windows do not allow our children to peer into the windows of The Armory. All is good.
