Six Degrees of Separation

We have all heard the phrase, now you can see where it originated! Inspired by an actual incident—a young African-American man gained access to the homes of upper-class New Yorkers by pretending to be the son of actor Sidney Poitier, Six Degrees of Separation is a witty, biting, yet ultimately sincere commentary on what drives people: the desire for money, fame, social standing, comfort, and, for the lucky, a desire for meaningful human connection.

Starring: Susi Damilano, Chad Deverman, Daveed Diggs*, Daniel Krueger, Christopher Maikish, Julia McNeal*, John Mercer, Robert Parsons*, Jennifer Siebel and Ken Sonkin*. (*appear courtesy of Actors Equity).

Red Zone for a Bike Rack

In getting my morning coffee at Ritual Coffee Roasters, I was pleasantly surprised to see a grass zone with chairs, plants and people enjoying their coffee in the parking spaces in front of the coffee house. Eileen Hassi, owner of Ritual Coffee Roasters, is having her second annual awareness lawn sitting to request that the metered parking space in front of her coffee house, located at 1026 Valencia Street, be a red zone. At this point she is requesting that Mr. Nathaniel P. Ford, Sr. Executive Director, Municipal Transportation Agency and Mr. Bond Yee, Director Parking and Traffic support the request for a "Color Curb Application" to reduce congestion and minimize potentially dangerous conflicts between motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians by collecting signatures from San Francisco citizens.

A photo to share with those that have not spent an evening with Fr. G. When his scraf is wrapped on his head, he is headed for dancing at The Saloon on Grant Avenue until closing. So be sure to know that the Lady with him danced until closing. Go Girl and Go Fr. G. Note: They did not lite these cigars until the plastic wrap was removed.
Photo by the guy that sold them the cigars--We Love You, Hamid!!!!
